Bio
Beth Colpean has been the Principal Harpist for the Grand Rapids Symphony for over 25 years, performing hundreds of symphonies, operas, ballets, chamber recitals, and educational concerts across Michigan. On the global stage she has performed in Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain, Wales, Japan, Czech Republic, and all over the United States.
As the premiere harpist of West Michigan, Beth plays nearly every style of music including Jazz, Irish, Pop, and Light Classical music. Have you ever dreamed of a Bridgerton wedding? Beth can do that too! With her experience, poise, and wit, Beth's music will elevate your most important event into an experience you will never forget.
Classically trained by world renowned teacher Alice Chalifoux, Beth holds degress in Harp Performance from Southern Methodist University and The Cleveland Institute of Music. Beth maintains an active private lesson studio and has held positions at Singapore University, Grand Valley State University, and currently, Calvin University.
